The first thing I've ever knit was this lovely hat. What started out as an extra wide scarf, became a unique hat. I dropped a lot of stitches, and tried some purling, and ended with hat that has 3 long braids coming from the top. It actually works out really well because I can put my pony tail through the top when my hair is up.

Thats an awesome hat nicole. Ok, you know that saying.....uh....the webs we weave, how bout something in that realm of things. Well actually now that I say it I am not sure thats actually a saying. :)
